This is a collection of 10 original stories. Students are asked to read the story and then make an inference based on the story. Students use their schema and what they are given in the text and apply them to make inferences. Students are asked to provide text based evidence (three text details) to support their inference.

I have provided two different covers, one with a girl on the front as shown here and one with a boy on the front. You can decide which cover to use if you choose to make this as a workbook. Or you don’t have to use them and can just print each page as you plan to use them in the classroom. It can be used in centers, as homework, morning work, etc.
