This set is designed for students to write Text Evidence, Background Knowledge, and Inferences.

★ Format #2: contains 3 rows of books (allows for 3 inferences)

★ Format #3: contains 2 rows of books (allows for 2 inferences)

★ Format #4: contains 1 huge book (allows for 1 inference)

SET B – 5 Inference Graphic Organizers

This set is designed for students to write Text Evidence and Inferences.

These graphic organizers are designed to support students in making inferences using any text under study. As they read, students will identify specific evidence, think about what they already know about the topic, and make evidence-based valid inferences.

This resource is also included in Google Slides! Text boxes have already been created to make it easier for you and your students! Each slide includes two instruction solution tabs for when students accidentally delete text boxes and when they want to zoom in (to enlarge worksheets). It’s super helpful for students who are not that familiar with how to use Google Slides or need the extra assistance.

This can be used with whole group instruction, small group instruction, and with novel groups/literature circles. These graphic organizers can also be assigned as a “Purpose for Reading” during silent reading time, classwork, or homework! This can also be used as part of a larger lesson!
