This is a shapes recognition game with the theme of breakfast. Deal out 15 cards each. You have enough cards for four players. Use a pencil and paperclip as a spinner for the board. Wherever the paperclip stops, the player that is spinning must have that shape in their hand. If not, they must draw another card. The object is to be the first one without any cards left in their hand. Works on shape recognition as well as sharing and taking turns.
Contains:
–2 spinners (one with words and one without)
–83 cards
Suggestions, tips, and differentiation:
* Small group or at a math center.
* Use as a finisher activity for when the students are done with their work for the day.
* Can cut the bottom of the cards off so to identify the shape without the words and use the spinner without words.
