Item description

An excellent hands-on activity that uses the scientific method to measure the melting of ice and to determine if salt makes this process go faster. Offers a good opportunity to learn about using constants and having a control in a simple experiment. Activity is a great winter science experiment. The resource also contains custom graph paper and the grading rubric for a small mini-poster. Use snow if there happens to be some around, if not simply use crushed ice cubes.
