Item description

This activity is great for real world math problems. Students are given a set amount of money that they need to add together. Each page has 4-to-5-word problems relating to items in the store. Students will use single and two step strategies with addition, subtraction or multiplication (or repeated addition) to solve the word problems.

There are 10 fictional stores with prices and amounts no more than $90.00. Dollars being used are fives ($5.00), tens ($10.00) and twenties ($20.00). Each scenario requires students to add mixed dollars. Dollar amounts and prices are in increments of 5.

Encourage students to use highlighters to identify key words for operations. Pages are relatable and have captivating clip art and fonts to keep students interested. Activities come with an answer key.
