Item description

If your students are struggling with handwriting or letter recognition these lower case practice worksheets can help enhance your instruction.  Each page provides opportunities to practice letter formation with letters that decrease in size.  A multisensory approach to teaching letter formation will also be helpful.  Make sure you are incorporating multiple ways for students to practice making letters and numbers.

No Prep Handwriting letter formation resource has two styles of lowercase letter writing practice pages. Great for handwriting practice, small group letter identification practice or OT sessions. Tracing and writing, two styles of pages for each letter. Print size decreases as they move down the paper. Monitor the students when they are writing to make sure they are tracing letters with the correct formation.

Other ideas:

•Laminate pages and use with dry erase marker.

•Rainbow trace the larger letters.

•Use Wikki Stix™ or Play-Doh™ to form the letters on the largest size.

•Use colored pencils, pens or markers to complete the pages.

•Place on 3-4 inch ring binder, or tape onto a vertical surface to facilitate improved finger tip grasp.

•Tape under a table, students lay on backs and work on shoulder stability while tracing letters.

•Add a multisensory approach to handwriting. Trace in shaving cream, sand or salt. Make with pipe cleaners or play dough.
