Practice number sense, counting, and subitizing skills with this NO PREP free partner game.

Students roll the dice and place one of their game pieces on the matching square. They take turns until one player covers three squares in a row.

3 options of game boards:

– ten frames

– counting hands

– subitizing dots

Materials needed:

-Gameboard

-Dice

-Something to mark down the spots;

  • To reuse the gameboard – 10 small objects of the same colour for each student to use as game pieces (counters, unifix cubes, blocks, lego, small pieces of construction paper).
  • Or you can have your students cross out the spot with a marker of the same colour for each student.
