Become a better writer by giving more to the reader while growing your vocabulary with these 20 BOOM cards that contain the most commonly used words in English. Instead of saying big students will be encouraged to use words such as humongous, massive, grand, and so forth. Students will pick out of a group the words that have similar meaning to that which is being shown. By going through the BOOM cards several times a month the students will start picking up words in their vocabulary effortlessly and therefore replace those common words!

Common words included: big, said, nice, bad, funny, good, great, angry, give, interesting, little, tired, want, tell, think, alone, hot, cold, look, thing.
