Check out this fun math FREEBIE! This is a great way to introduce pre-algebra pattern rules to your grade 4 learners. It can be played one-on-one with an educator or peer who is independent in this skill area. Or, it can also be used as a small group learning activity. In either case, its a fun, hands-on approach to learning math skills. All you need is a deck of cards and the learner recording sheet. Instructions are simple and set-up is quick! In this activity learners will practice their skip counting, addition, and multiplication skills. A card is drawn from the deck and used as a jumping off point for learners to fill-in the pattern chart with a specific rule. Four opportunities are offered per answer recording sheet so learners get the practice they need and you can have them play as many rounds as you see fit. ENJOY!
