Condensed & paper friendly weekly review of the pre-primer sight words helps you get through all the sight words without printing hundreds of papers. Check out Primer-3rd grade versions as well below. Short and simple practice, each lesson is one page and labelled. 8 lessons total.

Have your students review/practice their pre-primer sight words through various short activities. Practice 5 sight words per lesson. Good for older elementary school grades as well.

Suggested use:

Great for extra at-home practice. Can be used in class, especially if you are short on time and need some extra practice. You can supplement this activity with other sight word games. Such as:

  • One of my favourites is ‘search the room’. I write the sight words on the board and the students have to look through books or classroom material to tally the number of times they see the word.
  • Write the sight words on a whiteboard.
  • For the irregular sounding sight words, I write them on the board, and we add hearts to the sound that we must learn by heart.
