Item description

Freebie alert, just in time for the “pie” holidays like Thanksgiving (Día de Acción de Gracias) and Christmas (Navidad).

This is a printable pack designed especially for PK-1 students who are learning beginning Spanish numbers, letter formation, and Spanish table setting vocabulary. The learning focus is:

  • Identifying Spanish numbers 1-10
  • Identifying numerals 1-10
  • Practicing correct letter formation
  • Counting with Spanish numbers 1-10
  • Developing and improving fine motor skills
  • Optional: Identifying English numbers 1-10
  • Optional: Acquiring and practicing target Spanish vocabulary

Pages 2-15 are “pie plates” (platos de pastel, tarta o pay de calabaza) with traceable Spanish numbers on top and a space for the corresponding but optional numeral fork on the left. We updated this pack to include a “blank” counting mat so that you can print just one and insert the number you are working on if you prefer.

Pages 16-25 include other optional activities, such as plates to practice utensil vocabulary (e.g., el cuchillo, el plato, etc.), additional numbers tracing practice, and English ice-cream scoops if you want to go English-Spanish bilingual with the pack.

This printable pack works incredibly well with marshmallows, erasers, stickers, rocks, gummy worms–almost anything safe you can think of that is countable. We’ve also updated this pack to include printable marshmallows that can be cut and used. To reuse the pack, you can always use dry erase markers and inexpensive sheet protectors.

Thank you for downloading! I would love your feedback and comments about how you used this pack. Or, send me a note to tell me what you think about pumpkin pie. You can find email address in the download and also in all the free products I upload here on MBT.

Best wishes for happy and delicious ☺ learning.

Huge thank you to Clipart That Cares and Anne Weaver for the adorable clipart.
