This product give you 44 thought provoking 44 questions to start your
classroom in great spirits and you will be amazed how this simple
routine builds community. In my kindergarten class, I start the day
with an announcement of the question and as the students put away their
backpacks, they are invited to discuss with their classmates what their
answers are for about 2 minutes (I set a timer). Then we sing a song
and I ask each one their answer.

This activity sparks an
awareness of interests in other students who soon become friends that
play on the playground! I have also witnessed as they track together
how many answer the question with a certain answer – though you can use a
pocket chart. I normally post the question near the door or on the
whiteboard.

Many times I am able to tie the answers to grouping, number bonding and many other math concepts.

This product also help introduce opinion writing and personal narrative opportunities.
