Item description

Use this no prep activity for teaching rhyming
words, more than/less than, counting, and more! It’s great for subs,
an entire ‘class-time-filler’ when you unexpectedly have your kiddos in
front of you, small groups, and just about anything else you can think
of. Through a YT video, “I” teach, YOU give kiddos the differentiated worksheets that directly correlate to what I teach. You get your time back, guilt-free!

Teaching Moments:

-Rhyming Words

-New vocabulary

-Blending

-Counting

-More than/less than

-Fine Motor – worksheets

-Critical thinking

YT links are in product downloads also: https://youtu.be/Jo7JWY-uvsw

In the video, I slow down my reading so that emergent readers or ESL learners can follow along, and I engage listeners with questions. I provide teaching “moments”, not full-fledged lessons
in an effort to review skills previously learned, or preview skills yet
to come depending on the skill level/age of the child. Text is always
shown on screen and I periodically apply my cursor so that children can
see where I am if they get lost. Children will ‘learn’ while engaged in
a story. This is an independent learning activity, so the
teacher/parent can simply let the child/children watch the video, then
give them the worksheets to complete.
I’ve got this!

*3 sets of differentiated worksheets

Possible uses:

*Daily 5

*Subs

*Rainy-day

*Small/whole group

*Summer bridge

*and a whole lot more

Feel free to spread this out over a few days.
