This resource consists of an engaging, hands-on activity that simulates the various processes involved in the rock cycle, including weathering and erosion. Suited to students in years 7 – 9, it fits neatly into an average science lesson, saves teachers prep time and can be carried out easily using basic equipment in a school laboratory.
The Rock Cycle: modelling activity consists of two printable, black-and-white Student Worksheets with a series of questions that students are required to answer as they perform the task (these include a fun Word Find they can complete if they finish up early).
