Item description

  • Practice identifying beats per measure with time signature task cards. Students add the time signatures to the cards and write their answers on the recording sheets. Use for centers and small groups with third grade, fourth grade, and fifth grade elementary music students.


    To use:

    1. Print task cards, and laminate if desired.

    2. Students put the time signatures on the task cards that match

    3. Optional: Have students write answers on the recording sheets.

    4. Optional: Add instruments!


    To use, students get cards. Do this in centers or small groups. Students add the time signature manipulatives that match the measures to the task cards. Have them play the rhythms on instruments or record their answers on included recording sheets for an assessment!


    This product comes with 30 task cards and 2 recording sheets. All rhythms come in regular notation and stick notation.

    • Quarter notes
