This product is great for talking with students about making great personal choices to be a good person. It is targeted towards students who need a little extra support navigating friendships and it is best delivered following the materials in The Complete Elementary Friendship Group Bundle. This product was created to reiterate messages presented within the bundle. The intention is to review positive personal choices and to provide a space where students can make personal character growth goals. The messages presented in the previous lessons focus on positive personal choices that lead to happiness, positive friendships, and encourage positive character development.

Start this lesson by reviewing the slides as a group. There are three follow-up activities, enabling you to select the one that is best for your group and their developmental level. Note: If using this resource with1st or 2nd grade much more time will need to be spent reviewing the concepts presented or this lesson should only be given if used in the bundle. The first activity is the Be The Best You Squares Game. This game includes task cards that students think about and then verbally communicate why the situation showed a positive personal choice. The second activity includes two worksheets enabling students to think of ideas and goals which will encourage them to be the best version of themselves as a person. The third activity provides a space for students to create a collage that represents choices they will make to become the best version of themselves as a person. This product would be great for a small group, individual student session, or as a classroom lesson.
