Do your students enjoy slime but you’re looking for other ways to incorporate science into it besides states of matter or non-newtonian fluids? Why not check out these slime science centers where you can address 18 different science concepts! These activities will definitely engage your students!
In this activity, students take 4 different slimes, (slime A, B, C, and D) and test them through a variety of slime science centers. At the end, they make their own slime and see which slime (slime A, B, C, or D) it is most like. Then as an extension activity, they determine which slime (slime A, B, C, or D) was the best and try to persuade their classmates based on their reasonings from the science centers.
These slime science centers are very flexible for your students’ needs. They can be used whole group, in rotations, small groups, or even day by day. It’s not necessary to use all the science stations included. I just wanted to make sure you had a variety of science concepts!
