Practice subitizing, number recognition, counting, and place value with these fun spring themed math centers. These little chicks will have your students confident with their numbers to 20.

3 games included:

Chick Pick-Up:

Students put the chicks in a pile. They pick one up and fill out the ten frame to match.

Ten Frame Chick Pick Up:

Students put the ten frame chicks in a pile. They pick one up and write the number that matches.

Both of these are available in 0-10 and 10-20. Two recording sheet options are included for each. Answer keys are included. Black and white versions included.

These activities can also be used as an active ‘count the room’ activity where the chicks are hung up around the room and students visit each one with their recording sheets.

Chick Memory Game:

Students put these chicks in an array (several rows) face down. They take turns trying to find the match. For numbers 0-10 the chicks have dice and counting hands. For numbers 10-20 the chicks have base ten blocks. Combine the two decks for a bigger game.
