Do you need a new bulletin board for St. Patricks Day? Want an engaging writing activity for March 17th? Grab this easy to use St. Patrick’s day creativity. Students fill out the writing prompt of “I am lucky because…” Then they can cut out the pot of gold and choose a shamrock, eyes, and their choice of bows.

HOW TO USE:

❖ Have students brainstorm and draft what makes them “lucky”.

❖ Give them a pot of gold to write their final copies on.

❖ Students can then color the pot of gold and cut it out.

❖ Give students a shamrock, their choice of eyes and their choice of bow.

❖ Allow them time to color and cut them all out and begin to design how they want to attach the shamrock to their pot of gold without covering up their writing.
