This is the story of the amazing Wilt Chamberlain, who is considered one of the greatest NBA basketball players in history. The first real “giant” of the game at 7-foot, 2-inches in height, Wilt stunned the sports world with his athleticism and domination of the game, forever changing the nature of basketball in the 1950s, 60s, and 70s. The article tells about Wilt’s early life as well as the story of March 2, 1962, when Wilt dropped in an incredible 100 points for the Philadelphia Warriors in their victory over the New York Knicks. This record has stood over 50 years and will likely never be challenged.
