Thanksgiving Escape Room

Item description

Students race to complete various tasks. Each time they complete a
task or solve a clue they receive a piece of food. They need to collect
all the food in order to save Thanksgiving dinner.

As students solve each clue they also learn basic facts about the first Thanksgiving

• When was the first Thanksgiving?
• What U.S. president declared Thanksgiving the fourth Thursday in November?
• How long was the first Thanksgiving feast?
• Thanksgiving vocabulary

Clues involve solving codes, completing math problems and a word search.

There
are 6 tasks but the tasks do not relate to each other so you can take a
clue out if you would like to make the activity shorter. The math tasks
have several different versions in increasing levels of difficulty.

Preparations: Print, cut out each food picture, stick the clue, food item and task inside 6 different folders.
