Here’s a quick run down of what the kids will get to do:

Student will read facts about the Pyramid of Giza

Kiddos will create a flip sheet that will show the outside and inside chambers of the Pyramid of Giza. Comes along with facts.

The student will answer the questions in complete sentence based on the text found in the facts sheet. Also contains multiple choice question.

Kiddos will write and decorate a postcard for a friend or family member about what they learned about the Pyramid of Giza.

Read about the hanging gardens of Babylon.

The student will create a flip sheet in which they will learn about the different kinds of plants that could’ve existed in the gardens. The student will draw the plant in the space provided and cut it out, paste it with the correct description.

The student will answer the questions in complete sentence based on the text found in the facts sheet. Also contains multiple choice question.

Read about the Statue of Zeus.

The students will use their imagination and creativity to decorate and color the throne of Zeus. The sheet comes along with a fact.

The student will answer the questions in complete sentence based on the text found in the facts sheet. Also contains multiple choice question.

Read about the Temple of Artemis.

The student will answer the questions in complete sentence based on the text found in the facts sheet. Also contains multiple choice question.

Kiddos will get to use their imagination and creativity to draw their own adornments on the columns of the Temple of Artemis.

Kiddos will use their art skills to draw something that may be found in the marketplace in the Temple of Artemis.

Use the reading passage to point the location of the Temple of Artemis on a map of Turkey.

Read about the Mausoleum at Halicarnassus.

The student will answer the questions in complete sentence based on the text found in the facts sheet. Also contains multiple choice question. One of the answers will have to be drawn.

Read about the Colossus of Rhodes.

The student will answer the questions in complete sentence based on the text found in the facts sheet. Also contains multiple choice question. One of the answers will have to be drawn.

Students will get to illustrate a text from the passage.

Read about the Lighthouse of Alexandria.

The student will answer the questions in complete sentence based on the text found in the facts sheet. Also contains multiple choice question. One of the answers will have to be drawn.

The student will draw a picture of how the beacon chamber provided light on the Lighthouse of Alexandria.

The kiddos will take a look at different pictures of all the wonders and name each one of them.

The student will cut and paste the ancient wonders in order on which they would visit if they could go back in time.

Final review which can be used as a quiz regarding ALL of the seven wonders of the ancient world.
