This is a fun, no prep Valentine’s Day activity – Just print and use! Students will complete a tri-fold brochure by reading about the history and tradition of Valentine’s Day. They will also add some of their own information.

 

Tasks include:

  • “Who is Cupid?” – Read about Cupid and research who his parents were in Roman myth (Venus and Mars)

  • “Who Was the Read Saint Valentine?” – Read about the history of Valentine’s Day

  • Use a QR code to watch a short video on how chocolate is made. Add facts about chocolate to the brochure.

  • Read about Valentine’s Day traditions

  • Use a calendar – add dates and mark February 14 with a heart.

 

This is a great little activity that gives students a lot of information without taking up a lot of time!
