Enjoy the chaos of Valentine’s Day with a great genetics activity!


Kids will learn about GENETICS with a flip of a coin to determine the genotypes and phenotypes of Cupid and then a Teddy Bear.

Then they will color in their Cupid and Teddy Bear based off of those traits.

You can use this as an introduction into genetics ad there is a page of information that covers:

  • Alleles

  • Dominant vs recessive traits

  • Homozygous vs heterozygous

  • Traits

  • Genes

  • Genotypes and phenotypes

Or you can use it as a reinforcement since you don’t need the first page with all the information to do the coloring.

Either way, it is a fun way to spend the day!
