You will then learn about the Dakota Access Pipeline, which is where the story comes from. You will learn how the Dakota Access Pipeline is affecting the environment and the community.
You will learn about the peaceful protests against the Dakota Access Pipeline and about a 13 year old girl, Tokota–an activist.
Students will learn what it means to be an activist, what activists do, and how to become an activist themselves.
