This low-prep and easy to use Winter Roll, Count and Color activity is perfect for developing counting skills, promoting number sense (1 to 12) and is a fun and hands-on math center to enhance an understanding of numbers to 12.


This “Winter Number Sense” activity is designed for you to use in class to complement lessons, in groups to support and reinforce learning, give out to early finishers, set out in morning tubs or work bins to use independently, print out and send home for a little extra practice, great to use on rainy recess days… the possibilities are endless!


INCLUDED:

• 10 Activity pages (Numbers 1 -6)

• 10 Activity pages (Numbers 1 -12)


NOTE: You will also need 1 or 2 dice and colored pencils/markers (counters or cubes if your students cover the number instead of color).


To play, simply roll 1 or 2 dice, count and color the corresponding light. Continue until all the lights are colored. This game can also be played using counters to cover the numbers instead of coloring the numbers.
