If you are looking for 1st grade end of the year math review, you’ve come to the right place! Help Mrs. Jones escape from the library in this math escape room Boom Cards™ deck! This deck contains different topics such as place value, comparing numbers, measurements, and telling time, perfect for improving and reviewing their math skills! The math topics included are Common Core aligned.

Teachers can play the deck with the whole class. Simply project the deck on the smartboard and kids will have lots of fun answering together and learning at the same time! This is perfect for math centers and substitute days, too!

Background: Today is the last day of school and Mrs. Jones is stressed with all the paperwork she must submit. She can’t wait to go on vacation! Because of that, she realized that she accidentally locked herself inside the library! Help her finish her work and escape from the library, so she can enjoy her summer vacation. Good luck!

The activities include:

1. Addition, subtraction, and telling time word problems (CCSS 1.OA.A.1) = 9 cards
2. Place Value (CCSS 1.NBT.B.2, CCSS 1.NBT.B.2.A, CCSS 1.NBT.B.2.B, CCSS 1.NBT.B.2.C) = 11 cards
3. Comparing numbers (CCSS 1.NBT.B.3) = 10 cards
4. Measurement. Order 3 objects by length (CCSS 1.MD.A.1) = 5 cards
5. Measurement. Comparing weights (Which object weighs more/less?) = 6 cards
6. Telling and writing time in hours and half-hours using an analog clock. (CCSS 1.MD.B.3) = 8 cards
