Engage students in problem solving skills by using the second grade challenge problem of the week. These are multi step problems available in 3 different formats to challenge your kiddos after your daily math lesson. These are great as a center or as a “finished early” activity. You can either project/post the question, have them complete the question in their math notebooks or print a sheet with room for them to show and explain their work. These are challenging questions just within the reach of second graders and can be solved in a variety of ways. There are 40 problems.
