This ancient civilization research package contains everything students need to complete an ancient history research project on Ancient China, including informational emergent readers, graphic organizers, and scaffolded writing paper. These research projects work great in both the regular or special education classrooms!

This package contains 4 elements:

–a non-fiction, full-color emergent reader, with key information and written in simplied language

–a black-and-white emergent reader with cloze passages, corresponding to the full-colour reader

–a black-and-white, double-sided ‘Research Notes’ graphic organizer, with headings corresponding to the subtitles in the readers

–3 double-sided differentiated & scaffolded report writing printables

-provide students with accessible non-fiction text in order to conduct research

-guide student research by providing a graphic organizer for note-taking

-scaffold student research by providing similar structures & phrasing in the research materials as well as the research notes
