Item description

A simple board game to practise counting 1-4 syllables in garden themed words. Both colour and black and white versions are included.

There are two versions of the game. Both use the same vocabulary and the same game play (choose a card, move your counter along the game board). In the slightly easier version, players choose a card with a picture on it, count the syllables in the word and move to that numeral on the board. In the slightly harder version, they choose a card with a numeral on it, and move to the next picture on the board with that many syllables, so for this version, most turns will require counting syllables in multiple words.

There are also sorting mats included so you can practise counting syllables with the pictured cards and sorting them into groups.
