Looking for a fun game to engage your students when learning about graphing and data? Want to practice comparing numbers 0–20 and adding within 40? Do you need an activity to work on missing addends and 10 frames? Look no further. This school-themed resource is the perfect tool to achieve these goals.

What you can expect:

  • Students will roll a dice and record their result. They will use the provided recording grid to do so. They can also make predictions before the game about which symbol is going to win.
  • Students roll the dice and check the box above the symbol they rolled. The first symbol with 10 checks wins.
  • Students record the result of the game. Firstly, they tally and then write the numerals down under the symbols. Then they compare the checks the fall items received. Lastly, they use the number of checks for each symbol to add the numbers together.
  • Student also can practice finding a missing addend by using the provided 10 frames and counters.
