As an elementary school social worker, it can be quite difficult to get students to practice their goals, and continue to follow the rules in your space as they would in the classroom. Which is why I created “Social Worker Stock”! Using the idea of “Behavior Bucks”, Social Worker Stock is specific to the school Social Worker for following any rules, or expectations that the student might need to practice.
Once established on what the rules and expectations are, you can give the students Social Worker Stock whenever they follow that expectation. After a certain number of cash, the student can exchange the cash for a reward! The best part is that this is something that is easy to sustain, implement and follow through with. AND you are in control of what goes and how much each reward may be!
