Item description

Searching for human body systems projects? This assessment has students thinking critically about what they’ve learned about the human body. This no prep project has students creating an analogy (similar to cell city), visual, and writing a summary.

Students will review each of the 6 body systems they’ve learned about. Then, by themselves or with a partner they will complete a two-page graphic organizer by filling out information about what the body system’s function is, along with the analogy they thought of and why the analogy relates to the body system. Once they finish their graphic organizer, they will create a visual (either a hand-drawn poster or a digital slideshow). When they are finished with their visual, they will write a short summary highlighting and providing the reasoning why they chose the analogy they did for their project. At the end of the project, your students can complete a gallery walk to see what their classmates created!
