This bumper pack includes fun and interactive PowerPoint games to get your students moving while learning to identify consonant blends, along with a corresponding workbook and flashcards.

The workbook and PPTs cover the following blends: bl, br, cl, cr, dr, fl, fr, gl, gr, pl, pr, sc, sk, sl, sm, sn, sp, st, sw, tr. There are two review worksheets included at the end of the workbook.

Each worksheet has six accompanying flashcards and a letter card with the consonant blend.

Consonant Blends PPTs: Students are introduced to the consonant blends and then asked to play a game. The teacher places the letter blend cards on the floor. Students see the image on screen, the teacher says the word, and then the students run to the letter card with the blend that they hear.

There are 12 PowerPoint games included in this download (two versions of each game; one with a countdown and one without). They focus on the following blends:

br/bl/cr/cl

dr/fl/fr

gl/gr/pl/pr

sc/sl/sm

sk/sn/sp

st,sw,tr

These activities encourage total physical response in the classroom, which my students always love. They learn the consonant blends easily and they help with pronunciation.
