This colorful Clock Bingo game set is great for review and will help your ESL students flex their language skills! The pdf file includes 30 game boards and 40 clock images for use as draw cards. To make the game easier and more expedient, the game boards and draw cards are color-coded and divided into time groups: hours, half hours, quarters, etc. The draw cards include text for digital or analog clock readings, e.g., two twenty and twenty past two. Alternate draw cards replace ‘fifteen’ with ‘quarter,’ so you can choose the vocabulary that’s best suited for your classes.

Bingo, though a seemingly simple game on the surface, is a stress-free activity excellent for focused vocabulary review. In a typical game, players must listen carefully, scan their cards quickly, and follow the game closely to win. Allowing students to participate by pulling cards and shouting out when they win, creates a full-class experience of cooperation and fun.


Did you know there are dozens of variations on Bingo? Try having kids choose their winning numbers before they begin playing. For an inverted version of the game, set the rule that the LAST player to get Bingo wins. Think of Bingo as a lesson review disguised as a game!
