Item description

Count in ones to 100 from any starting point with fun pictures and borders to color in afterwards. These worksheets are clean, have easy to read font and are easy to follow to for little eyes – your students will love the fun characters and it will allow you to check your students number sense and identify that they can record place value correctly in the tens and ones places when writing their answers.

There is a mix of starting points to ensure your students really know how to count on without starting from the beginning each time. There are five worksheets with fun characters that can easily be used for explicit lessons, shown on the interactive whiteboard and annotated as you explain. They could also easily be stapled into a booklet for a maths centre, used for homework or as revision / review worksheets for the end of the week.

There are another five worksheets that have counting sequences (all in ones, three are to 100 and two are backwards from numbers to 100) where students complete the sequence and then colour the animal at the end of each time.

This would make a great pre-test before teaching number and then a post test to monitor progress and see if the concept was retained. The uses are endless!
