Item description

Students are given a story elements page with 13 characters,
settings, and plots. Once they pick one of each, they create a short
story. Once they use them, they cross them out, and use different ones
the next time. Students could end up writing 13 different short stories
using all of the elements provided.

These short stories
are a great way to see how students use the writing strategies they’ve
learned. There’s a graphic organizer to organize their thoughts, but
it’s mostly students using their imagination to come up with a creative
story!
