Item description
Do your ESL students struggle with protein synthesis? These cards will help all levels of ESL students practice and learn the sequence of the steps in transcription and translation. Colorful images and short descriptions are used. One set is English only, one set has partial translation, and one set contains a full translation (Spanish) and English. Use these with beginner, intermediate and advanced ESL learners. Have students put the images in order, the descriptions in order, or both. Students can also practice pairing the correct description with its image. These cards make a great station activity! Have students work in groups or individually. Start with full translations and move toward English only. Print them on cardstock, cut them out, and keep them in an envelope or bag to use repeatedly.
A version that can have other language translations added is also included.
