In this fun Christmas activity, students create cute mosaic style ornaments to take home and put on their Christmas tree. These are great to make as gifts, as a fun project to do during a class party, or as an easy crafting activity to do with a substitute.

For this project you will need:

•One printed mosaic coloring square per student

•One printed writing sheet per student (optional)

•Construction paper or other colored paper

•Ribbon or string

•Hole punch

•Markers, colored pencils or crayons

•Scissors & glue

Students color their mosaic ornament, then cut it out and glue it to colored paper. Next they fill out their writing lines, and cut that out and glue it onto the back of the colored paper. Now they just need a hole punch and some string and they have a Christmas ornament to take home.
