Learning new Languages and about Indigenous Cultures is so important! I am blessed to teach with some fantastic Cree Elders and incorporate the Cree Language into my teaching daily. I have created this resource so you can incorporate Indigenous culture into your teaching too!

This resource includes a retelling of the Blackfoot Creation Story (The Creation) and 12 pages (plus answer key) of literacy activities related to the story. It includes reading comprehension, retelling, word work, sequencing, comparing and contrasting, and art. This resource makes a great way to incorporate Indigenous cultures into your classroom. It also makes a great resource for independent study of Indigenous Culture.

This resource includes:

· A 2 page retelling of the Blackfoot Creation Story (The Creation)

· 12 pages of literacy activities related to the Story

· 7 pages of Answer Keys (some work pages are very open ended and thus there is no Answer Key, others have an Answer Key but still allow for a variety of responses)
