Item description

Do your students need more practice with integration? You can use each worksheet in the Integration Technique Workbook as classwork activities, homework assignments, or as a tailor-made assessment. Students love choice activities because they feel ownership of the work when they get to choose which problems to work on. Teachers love the activities because they are easy to identify individual student’s areas of weakness, fast grading, and great re-teaching opportunities for students who need a little extra practice and guidance.

Students will practice finding both definite and indefinite integral throughout this workbook. Students are introduced to the idea of integration through the Indefinite Integral, Differential Equation, Summation, and Riemann Sum Worksheets. Then expand your integration knowledge by completing the Properties of Integration, Fundamental Theorem of Calculus, Average Value Theorem, Mean Value Theorem of Integration, Definite Integral, Integration of Even/Odd Functions, and Integration by Substitution worksheets.

This product includes 10 worksheet activities. Each activity consists of 3-8 sets of questions. For each set, students choose to work on questions A, B, or C.

There are many benefits to Choice Activities, here are just a few:

  • Personalized Learning: Students feel an ownership of their work when they get to choose which problems to work.

  • Perseverance: With traditional worksheets, if a student starts a problem and gets stuck, they will give up. But with another option there, students will try the other option.

  • Fun: Students find Choice Activities more fun than traditional practice.

  • Practice and Revision: If a student is struggling with a concept, the teacher can illustrate the process by solving one of the problems with the student. Then they can let the student choose one of the two remaining problems to practice the new skill.
