Do you need no-prep resources to use in the month of August or with Back to School? These crossword puzzles and word search puzzles will meet your needs! Suggestions for Use:

• Connect puzzles to existing units and have students generate word and clue lists for new puzzles.
• Use as a springboard for independent research on the topics from the puzzles.
• Give students an opportunity to work in pairs or groups for a game or timed competition.
• Grab thematically linked reading passages or jigsaw puzzles from the store for extension.
