These CVCe or Sneaky e, Mystery Picture Puzzles are So MUCH FUN and super engaging! Your first-grade students will practice reading silent final e words. They will Cut, Paste and Color, or use the Full Color Farm Phonics Stations. Great activity to leave with a sub since it takes a while to complete.

 

Cut and Paste Worksheets

  • 5 Mystery Picture Puzzles – A, I, O, U and Mixed Vowels

  • Each puzzle has 12 pieces.

  • Students will match the long vowel word to the coordinating picture.

  • After matching all of the pictures to the words, students will look at the puzzle to see if it’s correct. If correct, color the puzzle.

 

Full Color Stations – The Same except in color

  • 5 Mystery Picture Puzzles – A, I, O, U and Mixed Vowels
