They’ll learn about the Saturn V, the Eagle, and Columbia. They’ll also learn about some of the experiments the men conducted such as the Passive Seismic Experiment and the Solar Wind Composition Experiment, as well as some of the equipment they used such as the Lunar Surface Magnetometer, and the Laser Ranging Retroflector. They’ll see the splashdown, the rescue by the USS Hornet, the quarantine, and finally the ticker tape parade in New York City. The Mission of Apollo 11 Coloring Book Level B includes traceable print copywork on every page. It’s a great way to work some handwriting practice into your day and bring the history of Apollo 11 to life. 45 pages total.
