Activities Included:

The children will sort the words into 2 groups, words that have oi or oy in them. When the children complete the activity they turn the cards over and if they completed it correctly it makes a picture. The children are always amazed by the picture that the activity makes.

1. Word Sort- Children will sort word cards into words that contain oi or oy. When finished children will flip cards over to show a picture if they completed activity correctly.

2. Word Round Up-Children will hunt for 20 hidden oi & oy words and write their words on a recording sheet.

3. Game Board- Children will move their pieces around the game board by reading oi & oy words.

4. Match Up-Children will place oi or oy cards on top of words to form words.

5. Stamp It!- Children will use your class word stamps of oi & oy to complete words.

6. Cut & Paste- Children will cut out oi & oy and place them on the correct words.

7. Finish It- Children will place either oi or oy cards to finish a word.

8. Clip It!- Children will place a clothespin over oi or oy to complete a word.
