Free Plant Observation Mini Book Printable for Kindergarten. Print and assemble a mini book for observing the plant growth cycle. Students can draw and describe the seed stage, root growth, sprout, seedling, leaf growth, flowering, and anything in between. We usually plant bean seeds in my Kindergarten class because they are easy to observe, but we never keep them long enough to flower. However, if you have an outdoor gardening area, this booklet can be used to observe and study the full plant cycle.
This worksheet and many more spring math worksheets and language arts worksheets can be found in my Spring Bugs and Gardens Unit for Kindergarten. The unit includes printable spring stories about the bean plant growing cycle, diagrams, writing templates for spring and bugs, reading and math centers activities and games, and spring themed math worksheets.
