Every student has wonderful qualities and this activity will help them identify all the positive traits about themselves! When our students are able to identify their own positive traits and begin to develop positive feelings about themselves they will be better able to develop the skills necessary to look within and discover how valuable they are to themselves and others.
Using this Who Am I? activity will allow students to identify positive feelings about themselves as they create a poster as a reminder about how truly wonderful they are!
How I’m using it: I will be using this as an activity to do at the beginning of the school year, but it can be done at any point in the year. In the center of each the student’s poster I will be putting a picture of them that I take on the first day of school. Then they will be able to look in the “mirror” and read all of the wonderful things about themselves.
What’s Included: This product contains 28 words the students can pick from and the “I am…” or “You are…” banners. There is also a blank word template so the students can write in any words they want to use that are not included.
