Item description

Reinforce ‘sources of light’ and why we need light in our daily lives. Included are four worksheets with fun clipart and borders, as well as a version using both with the US and AU spelling of the word ‘colour’ / ‘color’ for your convenience for the first worksheet.

There is a worksheet where students need to colour in the sources of light and be mindful not to colour reflective sources, such as the moon. There is also a worksheet where students identify sources of light, draw a picture of sources that help us see at night (street lights, car lights, house lights etcetera) and explain why light is important. There are also two pintables with the headings “Sources of Light at Night’ and ‘Sources of Light at Daytime’, both with prompts to encourage the students to keep things in mind.

Students draw a picture of a street at night and label the sources of light (eg. traffic lights, head lights on cars, street lights, windows in houses showing lights on inside) and do the same for inside a house during the day. There are prompts included rather than specific word choices for students to choose to allow this activity to be completed in any country, as different countries have different names for items (street lights/street lamps, for example).

These are all set out in a clear and easy to use format, great for little eyes to follow!
