Item description

This St. Patrick’s Day adjective activity is the perfect way to review adjectives and get your kiddos excited about writing! This is a no-prep, high engaging adjective activity that will make writing so much fun!

To complete this adjective activity, your kids will begin by each designing a shamrock. Then they will write clues for the rest of the class to solve in order to find their lost shamrock!

Once the shamrocks and clues are finished, hang some (or all!) of the shamrocks on the board. Each kiddo will read their clues, and the rest of the class has to find their lost shamrock! They will absolutely love it! It’s the perfect way to make writing FUN and engaging!

Inside you will find:

  • craft instructions

  • black and white shamrock to decorate (5 options)

  • brainstorming page

  • writing page with 3 clues

  • writing page with 4 clues

  • writing paper without numbers

  • numbers to label shamrocks when guessing

  • 2 recording sheets if you wish to have them secretly guess

  • 3 color options for a bulletin board title (pink, blue, and green)

Creating a craft before writing really gets kids excited to write!
