This is a Summer Secret Code cryptograms handwriting resource that includes 12 different worksheets/activities. Created by a certified Occupational Therapy Assistant, this is great for classroom activities, summer school, early finishers, writing centers, literacy centers, OT sessions, handwriting and letter formation practice.

WHAT IS INCLUDED IN THE SUMMER SECRET CODE HANDWRITING PACKET?

Students can use the key to figure out the secret letters, write their name, spelling words and secret words. They use the code to practice letter formation, baseline adherence and spacing. A self check editing guide is included at the bottom of several worksheets.

*Write your name in a secret code cut and paste worksheet

*Make two copies of codes and or pictures for a memory game.

It is important to include handwriting in letter recognition.  The sensory input of letter formation helps develop a motor memory for letter shapes in the brain.
